인구통계학(人口統計學, 영어: demography), 간단히 인구학(人口學)은 인구에 대한 통계적 연구이다.
인구 분석은 교육, 국적, 종교, 민족과 같은 기준에 따라 정의된 사회 전반 또는 특정 그룹에 적용할 수 있다. 인구통계학은 일반적으로 사회학의 한 분야로 간주되지만, 인구통계학에는 수많은 개별 분야들이 존재한다.[1]
